Help me sleep at night - where does this come from?


I found this piece of ribbed and slotted rubber, which I suspect might fit/belong in the radiator general area, but could be wrong.

I have no idea whether it belongs somewhere in the LSE TD5, or the D4 TDV6.

Even DazzaTD5 said it looked familiar but could not place it.

Pretty sure its off the front of the D4 somewhere.
Looks similar to the piece that fell off ours early on,i left it for the dealer to sort.

Its not worth missing sleep worrying about it,someone should chime in with the answer,i cant look at the D4 cos its sold.

Correct, top of the radiator to body. Mine perished long ago on a 4wd track far away....

aha! I have exactly the same piece sitting in my toolbox been trying for years to work out where it came from. I thought it was related to the air box somehow.

I was going to say it's the piece that sits between the inside edge of the front guard and the headlight. I notice I only have 1 , not sure where the passenger side piece is.

Actually I did say it was from the front of the disco, radiator area.

The car wont implode with out, if it was that critical ya'd think Land Rover would have made it so it doesn't fall out like they do.
