It wont do a re-calibration but worth trying a soft reset anyway as it might just get you out of trouble.
Gday All ,
Will a soft reset do a suspension reset or recalibration
My car seems to think it’s bottomed out so keeps going into extended height, even tho I don’t really think it has raised that high.
Each time I start the car if you look at the raise/lower toggle it shows the arrow up which it never usually does as the car doesn’t loose height when sitting for extended periods
Hawkeye tells me all is ok but looking at the corner values it seems Left Rear has. Totally different height setting .
Been having major compressor issues and finally seem to have it sorted and now this. In recent months it’s had all new struts and upper and lower arms but this 1 is new to me.
Hawkeye will dump all air bags but it won’t do a re calibration or suspension reset..
Might have to get a iid tool if I decide to keep the car.

Further reading seems to suggest it could be related to slowly rising vehicle fault, I dont have that at present but I did have.
I'm thinking you can successfully dry the dissicant but the filter pads themselves may be a separate issue, which has caught a few in the uk by what I read today. They dried the dissicant but re used the filter pads and it wasnt until they replaced the pads as well the problem seemed to disappear.
All my parts from UK should be here early next weeks so I will renew the pads and dissicant along with another new cap and see if it works.
I did a soft reset anyway but havent had a chance to see if its sorted the issue.

Super ModeratorHave you tried exorcism? I call mine the Antichrist, but it sounds like yours has taken that mantle!
Last time I went in to change the desiccant the felt pads were as stiff as hockey pucks. It was like cement dust had cured in them nearly blocking them completely. I think a refresh of the pads and desiccant is the best place to start to get the airflow it's looking for. Matti
I picked up a spare compressor to rebuild as a spare that the PO put a service kit thru but still had issues, i pulled it apart and there is a perforated metal disc behind a felt filter that was blocked solid.
I baked the desiccant and cleaned it out and still going after almost 2 years.

Yeh I'm starting to wonder, I think it caught covid or maybe the flu after spending its life in the tropics now coming to the cold.
Even the Alloy caps on 2 compressors , never leaked then both leak basically on the same day .. both thru the threads where the fittings screw in... the Hitachi compressor I am not surprised it's the original car compressor but the spare which is a dunlop was purchased new and has done bugger all work...
Anyway it is what it is so when my box of goodies gets here I will put them in and see how many issues get rectified..
In the end I cant complain it still got us to Perth from Darwin towing basically all we have in our caravan and even with the compressor issues it still sat at normal height , and with a suspect gearbox so it's the only reason i havent burnt it at the stake.
I'm prepared to throw $1000 worth of parts , plenty of skin and a bucket full of swear words and if I need to a electric blanket just to warm it up and see if I can breath some life back into it before I have to admit defeat.
