September 2005 heralded the beginning of a new era on the Gold Coast with the creation of the coast's first Land Rover owners club dedicated to the history, loyalty and respect the Land Rover name deserves. Since the very first design appeared in 1948, the Land Rover name has become universally identified with definitive four-wheel drive vehicles. Between them, Defender, Range Rover, Discovery and Freelander have evolved to satisfy every requirement for urban style, comfort and unbeatable off-road capability. It's a remarkable story that reads like a history of the 4WD itself. With a spirit of adventure at the core of its character, the great outdoors has always been Land Rover territory. And if you're in the mood, we've got plenty of adventures for you to undertake.
The Club - 19 years in the making
We are a small member driven family club focusing on social gatherings and a handful of longer touring style trips all encompassing our love and adoration of the Land Rover marque. We have landies in the club from the earliest Series 1's to the latest bells and whistles Defenders with most variants in-between.
For 19 years our family club has gone through cycles with enthusiastic hard and extreme offroading outings to now a more sedate feel. With the majority of our members being in the club for over 10 years and some from the very beginning, most have been everywhere nearby on countless occasions and hence we specialise on our yearly pilgrimages to the islands and planning the next big expedition.
While other marque specific clubs are closing and opening to other makes of vehicle to survive in today's social media driven world. We endeavour to stay true to our core beliefs that nothing truly gets in your blood and soul more than good honest empire building, teeth rattling, belt ripping, damp foot causing, Lucas has failed, are these headlights even on, British engineering prowess.

Running Order: Everyone meets from 6.30pm to have a few drinks, dinner and a good chat about, you guessed it, our landies. Then an update on the current and future happening of the club, and a rundown on past and future trips. Then possibly even watch some footage of our trips on the TV if we're prepared.
