Shuddering Clutch in the 130
Driving the 130 the other day, I said to Harry the clutch is shuddering, is growley 1st gear only. He did listen drove up and drive several times nothing wrong, he said. Off to day with the Red 130 and growley all along the road sure enough it went bang beside the tilt tray who always waits there for accidents on the M1. Nice I said quick change of a very few dollars and on our way to Rover Care. Will be sorted in a week or so.

Well, Mrs. Ho Har...I'm glad that you know when a clutch is slipping and where it should happen. Harry should pay more attention to your wise counsel.

All sorted now after a very expensive experience! Clutch changed and ready for us to pick up and the Fuel Pump died
not bad for nearly 300,000 K's. Off with the Car Trailer to pick it up as Paul had no time to fix it, ordered new pump took the tray off fitted the new pump and all fixed now. My sister said you should buy a new Defender, Harry said that is a LOT of money for parts to fix the one we have.
