3.6 Inlet manifolds - genuine or Britpart

Does anyone have a recommendation on replacement inlet manifolds for the 3.6 TDV8? The LR number hasn't ever been superseded indicating that LR haven't made any improvements to stop then from splitting whereas perhaps an after-market version might be an improvement. There appears to be at least 2 after-market versions with the Britpart one about half the cost of a genuine and another cheaper version listed by many ebay sellers.
My brother's MY08 3.6 has a split left manifold which is in the process of being removed.

Update: He's ordered the manifold and injector kits from his local LR dealer for not a lot more than genuine ex UK.

I gather by the term "splitting" that they are plastic Graeme?

Fair bit of work to get to. Seems to be a common issue, they either crack or the gaskets go hard.
    Best of luck with it.

Thanks. I'll forward the link to my brother.

I note that according to Microcat 2012 the 4.4's manifold part numbers were superseded by the time the engine was fitted to the L405 but not again superseded. I'm hoping that my April 12 build L322 has the later manifolds as several minor improvements were made to the 4.4 in January 2012.

He's already ordered genuine from a local LR dealer.

They're cheap especially considering that they have the port deactivation hardware. Unfortunately the manifolds aren't easy to swap out so risky fitting them.
