    Runway overshoot (From Defender2)

    Thought you might find this interesting. It was posted on Defender2. It features pictures of a Vulcan having overshot the runway, and a video of it's recovery.

    They are lucky the field was dry had been ploughed 3 times just before this happened. Result was it worked like a sand trap slowing the plane. If had been mud would have been a very different result
