I can understand why you're frustrated.
Stop throwing the parts catalogue at it and start working through the root causes of the issue.
What fault codes are you getting from the hard acceleration issue?

Gday , bought a 2006 rrs l320 from an auction, up for new transmission straight away $10000 . After that bill bought jlr sdd .Suspension problems , replaced compressor and valve blocks , calibration headaches. Sdd is limited. When accelerating hard engine system fault, limp mode resets when turn ignition off/on... Replaced turbo cartridge...I could write a novel

I got a P132b ,P0234 on the pcm and I did the recommended turbo diagnostic which said actuator veins were clogged , I sorted that but it could be the actuator itself I should have just replace the whole turbo instead of just the cartridge, sdd is limited and won't let me data log the actuator. Also the EGR valvs have been blanked and the throttle body butterfly flap has been removed and I'm getting P1335, P0405 which I think can throw into limp mode to , then sometimes it doesn't even throw a code . When it was getting a transmission it smoke tested fine which led me away from split hose or manifold etc, I read about hose deliminating , intercooler not cooling air which can cause limp . I don't know which direction to go also when I'm accelerating there's like a weird loose tinny sound from the passenger side around the turbo area I think at about 2000 RPM which gets louder proportionally to the revs and sounds like it's got something to do with this limp mode it's sort of sounds like a loose heat shield or something. Finding it hard to pinpoint it, thanks for replying if you have any ideas that would be appreciated

SupporterMaybe time to get the GAP IID tool as well. Will help with the diagnostics.
Even though the EGRs have been blanked, if they are faulty and not opening and closing properly they can still throw fault codes if not programmed out.
