    COOPERS VINTAGE ALE

I just knocked the lid off a 3yo coopers vintage ale.

    talk about yum.

I'm a beer lover but dont drink much.

I buy a sixpack of vintage every year and drink one of each every year , So I dont know what they're like after 6 years.

I asked Glen Cooper and he laughed and said they never last that long there.

I can understand why Glen's grandfather was contracted to make his ale as a medicinal beverage for the early SA Hospital.

I'm drinking this as I'm writing and I'm feeling better by the minute.

    2024 Coopers Vintage Ale

Be blowed if I can find any anywhere.

Rang Coopers and a young fellow I spoke to was quite miffed when I told him none was available at any of the outlets they nominated.

I asked him if Coopers would send me a carton freight free as I am a founding Coopers Club member and certified lifetime club member.

He became a bit agitated and said they wouldnt do that....I suggested that they already send me similar size parcels of their brewing products freight free.

I then asked him to put me through to Glen Cooper and he said he wouldnt do that even after I made it clear to him that Glen and I are on speaking terms , so I told him when the call was finished I'd call Glen personally and inform him of his employees telephone manner. I haven't done that but I think I left the lil squeezer wondering...

Same here, RB. A mate and I were on to it from Taws and still haven't come up with any! I keep seeing their ad for the "Vintage", though.

I wonder if the Ambulance Ranking problem started there? All the prehistoric old geezers queuing up each day to get a Pint. I might put a call through to the current Premier suggesting this, & "it may well Cut the **** allocation Pete, & Ambulance Ranking might just disappear ". .Well you never know? Back in the good olde days they would have had 'or**** piling up at the Casualty entrance. Possibly.

The 'Dans' at Mitchelton, Brissie website says they have some in stock. I'd be phoning first, though!

Especially if you're coming from Adelaide, for a six pack.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
