Make sure the battery is in good condition and fully charged, good chance the problems, and various dash warnings will disappear.

						Hi,
I am having some electrical issues with my Td5 after I have just had the alternator replaced by an auto electrician and would value any advice on what could be the issue.
I just picked it up after having the alternator replaced. It is charging the battery fine (14.2V whilst driving). I noticed the ABS, Park brake and TC light remained on when driving and then also noticed that the power windows, air con, hazards and horn aren’t working but the wipers, wiper washers, lights are working. The fuses seem fine.
Not sure what is going on? I’ve disconnected the battery for a period (10 minutes) to see if things would reset, no joy.
I’ve contacted the auto electrician and he doesn’t seem to have much of a clue. Should I try to access a nanocom to troubleshoot? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Scott

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Do you know why your original alternator failed?
Could be related to your current problems.

SubscriberDid you check the fusible links ( bolt down fuses ) under the seat?.
1 of them supplies the centre fuse box with most of the things you've listed and another feeds the ABS return pump Relay.
It wouldn't be the first Auto sparky to try changing the alternator without disconnecting the battery first.
