Can someone tell me which is the most cost effective and simplest method to add a touch screen and GPS unit like above with the upgraded panel below the screen

I have the small screen and basic digit panel underneath

I dont mind which way to go just need suggestions, costs and reliable suppliers please

Navisoft make a plug and play box that adds Apple Play. That’s the way I went. Simple install. I bought through Cambo from Old Jaguar in Sydney. He’s super knowledgeable in this area

I don’t believe that’s an option for a small screen D4 but Cambo will know all the options. He’s a gun at this.

For a 2012 D4, with the small screen, this is the better option in my opinion.

Thanks Cambo, any of those Tesla style screens good enough to retrofit or being used yet in D4's?

    D4 tesla in 2010 se

I've brought the unit and it's arriving next week. I have the 2010 d4 se with small b&w screen w two buttons. Will see where we land but I've fitted a couple android units in cars here and was an auto spark while I was at uni 20 years ago so should be OK. Will do a video or similar output

Is there an Option for the Discover 3 SE?

    Hi
I’m new here (and to Landrover Discovery) so apologies for the beginner questions.

I contacted Sound & Vision to see if the retrofit kit would fit my 2005 Discovery 3 SE - sadly not.

I need to get a reverse camera and screen fitted ASAP - ideally with a Nav or apple carplay. I’m a bit concerned about not having a reverse camera (pedestrians and kids).

My car has a place for the factory fitted screen but not the screen. I’ve found a genuine one overseas (2nd hand) and as a last resort would get this, but am wondering if there’s a better option that I can get locally. If I do purchase the genuine screen, will I also need a GVIF interface to run it?

Any ideas would be most welcome,

    Many thanks in advance
    Krash

Yes you would. Naviplus do a kit with GVIF & Carplay module that I put in my D3, but I already had both Nav and RSE so wanted to keep all the factory features and just add to it. If you don't have factory Nav it'd very likely be cheaper and easier to just put an Android device in.

I'd do it again tomorrow, but I think if I were in your shoes I'd take a punt on one of the All-in-1 Chinese devices. You could probably buy 3 of those for the cost of the factory screen + the Naviplus modules.
