Tuatara ATV

Hi Folks,

IÂ’m seriously considering placing an order for one of these Tuatara in five speed manual. They’ve been likened to an old Willys Jeep or series LandRover.

I have a serious need for a vehicle like this on my property, and in particular an ATV which will carry 550kg in the tray which Honda, Cam-am, Polaris and Kawasaki will not.

Has anybody heard anything about them and can advise? My primary concern is that they are manufactured in China, although it it claimed from a New Zealand design. I wouldn’t want to by a Chinese product imported and rebadged as a Kiwi Product. Unless others feel Chinese products rate highly…

Any advice appreciated.

A big issue with so many of these type of vehicles, is how long will spare parts be available.
My BiL got caught out with a Hyundai drott. They made a single batch and no spare parts.
