Exclamation Central Instrument Panel Switch Pack

Looking for some expert input please. My Central instrument Panel Switch Pack has stopped working. That pack houses the temperature control knobs and various other items such as the DSC, Park sensors and Hazard lights. Those three items by the way work as well as the airbag illuminated display. My air conditioning works perfectly but at the conditions that were previously set. The temperature dials are not illuminated and you cannot reset the temperature or the recirculation or switch the AC on or off. It is frozen in time. I have checked and there is 12 volt power supplied to the board. The easy option is to replace the board however I am not sure of the fault if it is at this board or the ATC ( automatic temperature control ) module. I am puzzled why the LED temperature dials are not illuminated if I have power to the board.I have inspected the board and there are no obvious damage to the board components.

Can any one help with better understanding how this board operates. If the lights are out does it mean the board is stuffed or do they get power from somewhere other than the 12 volt supply?
This problem has been around for years and was intermittent however it has progressed to a permanent fault.
Help would be very much appreciated.
    regards
    derick

He's trying to work out what vehicle you have. With what you have posted, it's anyone's guess.

It'll be either Discovery 3 or Discovery 4.

    My guess is Discovery 4.

I’ll move it to the correct section. This area is for discussion of diagnostic systems, e.g., Testbook, GAP, Faultmate, etc.

    EDIT: moved
