Howdy folks,
I took this distributor apart many months back to fit a new points set. I took plenty of pictures , downloaded them to my pc which has now carked it. Can anybody tell me please where the two wires attach to, orange and black.
Thank you,

Instead of trying to fix the insulation ( it will fail when it is least convenient, ask me how I know ), get yourself one of these, although you need to check fitment as they are not all the same.
