I am in the process of doing the front brakes of the 2a. Got one side complete today except for fitting the drum and bleeding and adjusting.
While assembling the new wheel cylinders to the backing plate, I found that the new bleed nipple spanner size is not 7/16" as expected. It is 10mm! Despite the fact that the thread on it is 3/8"UNF.
I've found much the same, two different spanners needed to bleed the brakes or you have to move the old nipple to the new cylinder.
I did buy some new bleed nipples and they were all Imperial.
