Last time I was at Brooklands was for a Thrust SSC gathering ThrustSSC - Wikipedia
The above mentioned friend & I climbed up the banked circuit in the dark after the meeting, it's surprising how steep it is.
There is a big section of the track missing from when aircraft were built there during the second World war.
Urban sprawl means that just over the other side of the banked circuit are now back gardens of houses !
