Are these captive nuts in the chassis rails of 130

    Hi
Just bought some fold down steps for the front of my Defender 130. There are some bolts in the chassis where the support bracket goes. Tired undoing these but they just keep spinning. Do I need to drill out and replace the captive nuts
    Can't seem add pic.

If they're rivnuts, and you can get the bolts out.
    Rivet nut - Wikipedia

Thread a nut onto the right bolt, then a washer, now screw it in to the rivnut, and tighten the nut really tight against the rivnut, this should reset it in the chassis.

Rivnut is what I meant. Hard to reset the rivnut if you can't get the bolt out. Think I will drill them out , and reinstall new rivnuts
