2014 td4 pure manual slow start
Hi All,
We have recently bought an evoque, which my wife drives.
It's a manual, and she says that every so often it has no power on take off.
She swears that she's not trying to start in 3rd instead of first, but I haven't ever experienced the issue when I have been driving it.
The car has no error codes showing.
Has anyone else experienced a lack of power on take off?
Might it be the auto stop start being slow to re-engage?

Follow up
As a follow up, I'd decided to change out the fuel filter, so went and ordered one.
Went to do it today, and read through the previous owners service history to find out that it was only changed 30k ago, so isn't really due for a change.
Thought that I'd investigate anyway, so following LR service manual started to access and disconnect lines..starting with the fuel inlet, which gave zero signs of having any fuel in it (no drips and no gurgles).
Decided that it might just be an air-lock issue, so primed fuel line following LR procedure, and put everything back together.
Car was gutless from the start, so I'd made things worse!
Went back to look at Youtube videos, to see that they were sucking the fuel through a different line to the LR manual (the return line, which made much morse sense as it will fill up the filter too!), so went back in and did that.
Test drive was all good, loads of power, until I was pulling off from the lights just after the stop/start had activated and it was gutless again....
Disabled s/s and the at the next set of lights (200m up the road) it was better, but still sluggish.
Every other stop and acceleration after that was fine.
I've run out of time to do the filter change, but I'm now not convinced that that is the problem anyway (but I will do it and revert back later).
Seems like fuel starvation right after the stop/start is re-activated, which would seem like the fuel pump isn't staying on during the stop phase?

Update again.
After numerous air bleeding sessions fixing the problem for a while, I finally got round to replacing the fuel filter... No more problems.
I have read elsewhere that all aftermarket filters can get this problem after a while and that only genuine filters will avoid it.
Have fitted a ryco, so I'll update as to how long it lasts.
