Late L405 brake controller socket location

I can't find the electric brake controller socket above the pedals in my MY21 L405. Can anyone advise where it is, perhaps just hidden from view or in the rear?

The socket is indeed above the pedals, mounted high clipped into the bracketry pointing upwards and not visible, to me at least. It was found by following a wire bundle upwards with my fingers until the socket was felt.

However, the connector wiring has changed to match the Ford layout. The requirment to change wire positions for earlier L405s & L494s is no longer applicable.

Not yet having discovered what panels are easily removed and somewhat short on time, I took the easy way out and mounted it on the right side of the steering column. I'll see it when getting in so acceptable for me and more accessible than where I had it mounted in the L322. I intend mounting an ESC-off switch just forward of it as my van's ESC system can be excessively aggressive on rough tracks. I mounted my Llams switch on the left side where it also can't be seen, but that's not an issue for me either. Prior to fitting Llams, I was getting frustrated trying to prevent OR2 on my driveway, getting up enough speed before the bumps started or selecting off-road height in the right speed range coming back in.
