D3 2.7 fuel leak return line

    Hi Folks,
Got the D3 running last night after the oil cooler/ coolant inlet saga (see other thread).
I now have a fuel leak at one of the plastic return pipes from the fuel sensor just in front of the oil filter.
Rather than spend $300 on a new pipe thingy, has anyone had success repairing this pipe, either cutting it short and refitting, or adding a repair connection?
Any idea how much pressure this line holds? I'm wondering if some 250psi rubber fuel hose would work?
    TIA as always!

As it's part of the return circuit it is subjected to LPFP pressures (so <= 0.5 bar).
