    as if whats left of my hair isnt grey enough...

    A friend donated me a printer to play with. Qidi X-Max

    Big unit but they are supposed to be very capable...

    also big learning curve .... but it does all of the hard to do filaments so it will be interesting when i get my head around it!

    playing with PetG to start with as thats what i have heaps of....

    That's them John. Dave tried a couple of versions quite some time ago, but they broke when being pressed into place.

    this thing can do the really hard stuff ... i just have to learn how to drive it

    i have it doing PetG and TPU95A really nicely so far

    i need to start playing with ABS and ASA

    after that i'll try PCCF and NYLON, which in a perfect world, should do those RR things as good as any printer could...
