GAP IID is always better but that’s up to you I guess.
I have replaced my 2011 D4 with a 2015 D4.
Should I, can I update my NANOCOM Evolution or is there a better option?

Nanocom shouldn’t be VIN specific, they are usually type specific and will work on any similar models.

Correct, not Vin specific but it was time to update to latest version, no cost involved.
Yes Gap is probably the way to go if starting.
Thanks for the help as always. What a wealth of knowledge.
