SIII bullbar to late model defender

Will a SIII bullbar fit on a late model Defender what mods to the bar are required to make it fit?

    G'day Dobbo

Can't see why not, the headlights are in the same location but I would measure the headlamp centres and compare them with a Series 3, the body is wider, and the Series Brush Bar did NOT reach to the edge of the guard, but to the join seam, which left the outer panel exposed that is why most Ex-Army Landies have Guard dimples

What about the chassis rails width and depth and of course the distance between the rails.

Glad I read this post. I was considering one of those "sport like" winch bars without all the pipe work around the headlights. Can now see how this may be a disadvantage in the scrub. Will have to think on which way to go on a winch bar.

Not sure about chassis rail distance, but I just measured the mounting holes on a standard Defender bumper. The upper inner mounting hole centres are about 606mm apart (if that makes sense).

I checked with measurements Omaroo supplied, it will fit but mounting brackets do require slight modification overall length of the bar is the same 1625mm

    G'day Dobbo

Hey Dobbo, were you talking about a Military Series 3 Bar or a Civilian one if it was the Military, that bar bolts to the Bumper and has diagonal mounting bars back to the chassis rails at approx 45% you would just have to angle those diagoals out a little to suit your rails.
