Brakes squealing
It is a stpuid question to ask, but I wanted to ask to make sure it is what Im looking for. I replaced my rear brake pads on my 95 Disco and since then, the brakes have been squealing, yet it sounds like it is happening from the frount. They only squeal when hot, they are fine when the brakes are cold. And only squeal when doing 40kmh or less, or putting a certain pressure on the brakes. I got my ideas, but I'd love to hear off you lot, just to make sure before going mad at my brakes, possibly wasting my time.
Thanks, Matt.

Have you inspected your fronts? Could be down to the rotor.

Yeah, was thinking that the front brakes could be pushing on the rotor. I'll have a look at that, plus take the other ideas in as well. Thanks for your help

I had a small squeal when going under 40kms also (when lightly applying the brakes, like pulling up at traffic lights). Clearly noticable from front left and all it was was a slightly loose wheel bearing hub nut. With the wheel off I could wobble the rotor ever so slightly. Been fine for the last 2 years/25,000kms since I tightened it a little.
