    New toy!

It's only been about a year since the Subaru was stolen.

Bought this Outback today to replace it.

1998, 188,000km and the price was right.

    Woo Hoo.

    Cheers

Great car, is worthy of being on a LR site.

A very good freind of mine is a Mechanic for subi and he thinks they are the best model in the outbacks as they never see them other than for service.

Much better than a Freeloader im sorry to say.

I think some people might say the same of the Defender in comparison to the Discovery.

Probably only the Disco owners, though.

    New toy!

Don't talk about subies to my cousin! He had one and the 1000k service almost sent him bankrupt. Imagine having to have 2 mechanics remove to rear seat (one couldn't do it by themselves) just to get at the fuel filter to change it!!!! Whar sort of planning so suby do when designing vehicles??

This would NEVER happen to a Brumby owner,,

Great cars. I had 2 prior to getting the Disco and my first one was manual so it had the "low" range lever like yours.

Only problem with all Subarus is that they scrub out the front outsides of the tyres.

Overhangs front and rear tends to get caught up on trails but I'm sure you didn't buy it for it's 4WD ability.

    Chris
