I haven't seen a map, but it reads as if the access road will operate and no vehicles on the beach. Provided they upgrade (or even grade) the bypass road, it shouldn't make that much difference to 99% of people.
There has been a response from the government about the petition to stop the closure of Hook point vehicle access.

Moreton, never been and I've been living in Brissie 12 yearsben too slack and the barge cost puts me off a bit
But if the club did a trip there, I would be keen to go for the first time.

Don't know about the closures, but we go there twice a year.
Simply awesome, plenty of driving, great spots, heaps to see, great for wee ones, uncrowded and nil yobbo's![]()
