    Charcoal canister on a diesel?

Just looking for some more room in the Bushranger engine bay and spotted one of these from when it used to be a 3.9 V8.

    Now it's a 300TDi.

Question: Do diesel Disco/Defender owners have these fitted?

Rip it out, Diesels in this country don't have to have evap emmission control.

I had similar fun and games when I changed the 4.6 for a 4BD1 in my RR. I ended up with about 15kg of unnecessary wiring, relays, canisters, plugs, fuelpumps, isolators etc etc etc. I then added the weight back in again by shoehorning in a solid lump of cast iron diesel But it goes better

    It's like that!

I was waiting to do the wiring until after I had the a/c fixed as the previous owner butchered it, so all the unnecessary wiring is about to get lost now that that bit of wiring has been traced!

    Along with the charcoal canister!
