do S1 and S2 Discos have the same steering damper?

Hi - I've got a Bilstein steering damper on my 93 Disco which I want to put on my 99 Disco - I assume there's not problems with this?

BTW, for those that may have fitted bigger rubber and haven't yet tried a Bilstein steering damper, there's really no substitute for them - tried OME and Tough Dog 4-Way 'Return to Centre' versions, and they're all pretty average compared to the bumpsteer control provided by Billies...

need for a steering dampner.

Nope you need a BE3A580 (Disco 2) list around the $215+ tax range
