Confirming your vehicle's recalls have been completed

Hi - just in case there are any of you out there who hadn't done this (like myself, until yesterday), it should be a simple matter of providing your VIN to a Land Rover dealer and they'll provide you with a printout of which recalls have/haven't been completed on your vehicle. Fortunately all of mine had been done on the second hand Td5 Disco I've just bought, but interestingly, the dealer wouldn't give me the second page of the printout, and proceeded to tear up (and put in mouth and chew) same...I wonder what it said...

Yep, I did this when I bought our Discovery.

Also got the full history of when it was shipped and when the accessories were fitted etc.

They were most helpful as I was a real pain to deal with during the trade in and sale. I just treated him like he treated me .... "you want how much for your trade in? It's not worth that!"

Well I said ..... "You want that much for the Discovery? Their not worth that much to me. I will offer you .... " and so on.

I think he just wanted to see me go.

are these only for Discos??? what about fenders??
