    Online book sellers?

I'm after a few cars books (Haynes manual, engine tuning, plus some non-car/LR stuff) and wondered if there were any online discounted sellers like Amazon, but local? A Google hasn't turned up much of use...

Don't buy haynes if you can avoid it, they are a discusting example of literature, Gregory's are the best of a bad bunch

    I disagree.

The Haynes manuals, like the LR workshop manuals both have their place.

I never mentioned genuine, althought that's what I use for the rover's, but also have about 40 assorted manuals for other vehicles, mainly gregory's, yet when you have to purchase a haynes, or even worse a Max ellery's you soon realise what utter crap they are

Compare the genuine manual with the haynes for a classic RR (yes I have both) and you see they photocopy every 5th page direct, atleast gregory's go to SOME effort to actually condense the information and not leave important stuff out

    But that's just my opinion

As horrible examples, comparing factory manuals with aftermarket, my Chrysler CL ute's factory manuals were 4 volumes, some three inches thick as was the factory manual for my cook's Ford Escort, although a single volume as is the factory manual for my Falcon XH ute. The Gregorys manuals are about 16mm thick, & in the case of the Valiant, thinner than the factory manuals engine book alone.
