How often do you drive your Series

    Hello all,

I'm very new to the Land Rover scene but just recently purchased a Series III LWB. I'm just curious how often those with older Series model Land Rovers actually get out and drive them. My Series III was a daily driver for the previous owner and did close to 60k a day.

Mine varies a little - I have 3 cars in the fleet and 2 drivers. The Series III is supposed to be the "play" machine, but driving to work doesn't HAVE to be a chore, does it? It ends up being the daily driver about 1/2 the time.

I drive my 1970 2a almost daily. Great for getting around our small country town. Our dogs love it too.

Use my SIIa as my every day driver ( SWMBO uses the "good" car.....) Son loves it, daughter sides with her mother.......always fun to pick them up from school, he hurtles into the back and she tries to hide in the front footwell....... teenagers

I voted every day, but in fact I miss the occasional day, for example when I go to town in the County, or when I don't drive anywhere, or when I am away from home.

It is my primary farm vehicle, and perhaps one of the few actually registered commercially.

    G'day Folks

I drive my 2a as often as I can, at least 3 times a week, feel safer in it than the Crummydore "The Management" enjoys it too

And it will be at the "All British Day" on Sunday in Brisbane.

    cheers

G'day All, MIne are all on Club rego, but I drive them as often as I'm able when I'm not on Nite shifts hey NM you can relate to that too, and you know one night when I'm on Nites when it warms up a bit more, I'm going to drive my Gunbuggy to work about 40 mile round trip really looking forward to that (the drive not the work) cheers Dennis
