Mine varies a little - I have 3 cars in the fleet and 2 drivers. The Series III is supposed to be the "play" machine, but driving to work doesn't HAVE to be a chore, does it? It ends up being the daily driver about 1/2 the time.

Hello all,
I'm very new to the Land Rover scene but just recently purchased a Series III LWB. I'm just curious how often those with older Series model Land Rovers actually get out and drive them. My Series III was a daily driver for the previous owner and did close to 60k a day.

My series 2a will be an everyday machine when finishedjust love driving them being on the road or off road ... heap of fun ... you have to DRIVE it not just sit back and steer

I drive my 1970 2a almost daily. Great for getting around our small country town. Our dogs love it too.![]()
Use my SIIa as my every day driver ( SWMBO uses the "good" car.....) Son loves it, daughter sides with her mother...
....always fun to pick them up from school, he hurtles into the back and she tries to hide in the front footwell...

I voted every day, but in fact I miss the occasional day, for example when I go to town in the County, or when I don't drive anywhere, or when I am away from home.
It is my primary farm vehicle, and perhaps one of the few actually registered commercially.
