Noisekiller U.K.
I have a Landrover Defender 110 Td5 County Station Wagon.
Anyone out there used NOISEKILLER U.K.'s sound-dampening kit on a Defender?? Is it worth the money? Does it work? HOW GOOD is it? (Are any independent reviews available for this product?)

There have been a few threads on this in the past month or two.

Try a search on NoiseKiller or Noise Killer and you will get some matches.
Also, try searching on the UK site LandRoverNet. There are quite a few there, eg:

Sound insulation for Defender
Popotla,
I have used a sound insulation material in my TD5 Defender, and there is a link under "projects and tutorials " Under Mudnut. Don't think it is easy to get any more, but there are some companies that sell here in Aus. Along with the noise reduction, there has been a vast improvment in heat transfer from the transmission tunnel into the car. It is now cool to touch, where as before it would be hot. The car is not in the same leage as a BMW X5 for sound insulation, but much better than before. Recently did a trip from Melb. to Cape York, and was comfortable with noise, and heat.
A great link is:

Good luck,
