Question D2 immobiliser problem urgent advice needed

I hope somebody can help me. The remote entry key has decided to play up and we cant use the Landy 99 TD5.
I have referred to the owners manual but I dont hve the security key card and number to do the door lock thing.
Just entering the car with the key sets off the alarm!!

I know this will sound completely ridiculous, but also try touching your chin with the end of the key while you press the button. It increases the range of the key by a fair bit, especially if the battery is just about dead.

    BTW, yes I am serious.
    Cheers

    Mine has done this.
To get it back I simply re-locked with the push button.Normality returned, wasnt the fob battery, hasnt happened since.
The only think out of the ordinary was the alarm had tripped during the nite, cat on the bonnet, bug inside?????

If nothing else works, PM me your VIN & I can get the EKA code to bypass the alarm.

(After verifying that you're not a theif of course ).
