    *Another* mud rails thread

Just a query regarding Mud rails. i just received a set from expeditionexchange.com ( https://www.expeditionexchange.com/c...2&cat=0&page=1 ) and was just double checking that the rails they sell in America will fit an 03 defender (au spec)

I know its bad manners not to introduce myself to the forum, but i will when a Defender is parked in my driveway (next week)

If you have not yet fitted these to your Defender, can you take a few photos and measurements and post them up for me?

I am thinking of fabricating some myself, as at 6'3" I feel like I need to get back a bit from the dash.

If you could do that - I'd appreciate it.

yeah - i know what you're saying, but I love building things with my welder. As a percentage of the cost of the car the $120-odd is pretty insignificant.....

I wont be fitting them at home, but i will remove than refit then to take the pictures.

Here's a link to something similar.

I want to do it myself too as I would hate to spend the money only to find I don't like them.

Click on the Seat Relocation Brackets link in the left column.

That link doesn't direct me to anything specific, but I believe I know what it is.

I purchased mine before I even owned a defender (still technically don't.... yet.) I figured if they didn't work for me, I could sell them here in under a day.
