The Blue Streak finally made it here yesterday, I have been waiting to get my teeth into this one, Streak being a Series1 107 ex farm hack, I dragged a rubbish bin over and we got into cleaning it out, found about 300 round files for sharpening chain saw teeth, lots of nuts and bolts and other accumulated stuff a farm vehicle would collect, Including the remains of an old LightHorse Waist belt wrapped around the axel, stuffed but it donated its buckle to my collection, the body seem relatively straight and looks to be not to much hassle

It has no ute back as its now a tray back and will remain as such, it also has a Holden Grey 6 which will stay, much procrastinating today about just how far one needs to go, And Easo the reason why the front prop shaft was out is the centre has let go, you can wobble the drive yolk around big time, its well flogged out, Thats an easy fix. The pedals have alot of play these can be rebushed I gather, The choke cable appears to be just fast idle as its connected to the throttle linkage, simple enough!

When I rewire it all that original stuff is coming out, if anyone is intersted in the old stuff like the reg, elec fuel pump, other queer electrical boxes stick your hand up, I will not own a vehicle with a generator, dont care how old it is a Bosch Alternator with internal reg will find its way in there somehow.
The brake light switch set up looks like a disaster waiting to happen, Were these originally Pos earth? Had a 2A that was Pos earth.

So we are in for a bit of fun, will try and blast the chassis this weekend and get a better idea of its condition and will photograph it properly before going to crazy on it, will post these in the projects page at some stage.
