    heads up new 07 drivers

    hey guys

nothing to panic about, just a heads up we have had word from the uk that one or two of the pumas have been sucking alot of oil..........

we have been advised from a friend (who works for landrover) to check the oil weekly until you get a few k's on the meter...

again this is not a (oh my god the engines are gunna blow up) but more, that there has been one or two that have sucked alot of oil and owners have let oil light come on. then decided to take the car to dealer by this time damage has already been done.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......

That's a good question I was going to consult my friend on that but seeing you asked if any one wants to put some names forward I'd appreciate it. I was going to go for penrite and I'm not sure what they offer I just always thought they were good.

With any new car you should watch it's oil consumption often for the first little while.

I had a new MINI, and the standard was having to add about .5l in the first 5k, and then never again
