yep, they were available, like rockin horse doo to find..
only ever seen one and would dearly love to own one myself.
they were very expensive to buy when new apparently ....
what PTO options were available? i know there were the welder/compresor/V-belt and the shaft to the rear crossmember varieties that mount on the back of the transfer case, but talking to my dad he swears blind he had one mounted to the bottom of the transfer case on his SWB S3
he's still kicking himself for selling it......

The welder and compressor used a multi-vee pulley on the back of the transfer box and ran the belts through the floor to the item being driven in the back. Well that's how I understand it from the drawings
Perhaps that is what your Dad had,
Cheers Charlie

You mean to say, that I can get a grand total of 3 (yes three) PTO's on my S3 Landy?
I have a Daihatsu five speed truck gearbox with a PTO on the left side of the box.
I don't need an O\D sitting on the back, so I can put another PTO there.
And. I can put another PTO on the "bottom?" of the T\case?
Let me see.
Winch, Hydraulic pump, Welder, Bilge pump, Shaft Generator, Rotary hoe, power mower, and a machine that goes WooHoo.
How much more can these little trucks do?
