    LT95 Clutch Kits

Looking at buying and LT95 clutch kit (clutch and pressure plate) but so far the cheapest I can find is just under $500 for both. Repco sell the kit for $617!!!!! So can anyone tell me if:

    a) $500 is a resonable amount to spend, and
    b) if not, where else can I order these from.

    Cheers,

Can't really help, but my clutch kit in 1986 was $360 and REPCO wanted around $700 then, so $500 may not be too bad.

What Id love to get into on the clutch front of the lt95/3.9 isuzu combo is a double plat canterleave release clutch where actuating the clutch pulls at one plates spring pack and pushes at another. effectively this results in 0 effort being applied to the flywheel by the clutch release mechanism and being a double plate can deal with fantastic amounts of torque which given the size of the engines these clutches are usually attached to means in a piddly little isuzu 3.9 its going to last forever......

Seems to me like the bloke who supplied the last 3.9 clutch complete I fitted might have paid a tad much for it.... probabley made up for it on the labour cost tho.....

Im sure the kit was $360 ish and it cost me another 50 to have the flywheel machiened and they did a recess around the edge to make the clutch bite harder works great been in just over 12 months had the motor out 4 months ago to fix the input shaft on the box clutch still looked new its a borge and beck pressure plate that carters recoed and the pressure plate was a PBR i think tho the plastic spigot bearing housing is a joke if mine fails again il be geting one spun up outa alloy but i think mine failed because the slip yolk on the input shaft had come a drift and had shortened it self bu floging round the input shaft ...
