    LSE fun...

    Well, I had fun today

Replaced the front springs and shocks, ordered the 9000lb OX electric winch, fitted the ARB winch bar, serviced it, repaired minor exhaust manifold leak, cleaned the rest of the breather system and throttle body/ set base idle, correctly fitted/adjusted the kickdown cable,(Tony, I would be having a talk to your Auto trans people...) fitted A frame ball joint and steering column unis, wheel aligned, washed it,lubed everything in sight....

    beautiful!

The windows will be tinted, 235/85/16 Cooper ST/s and the roof lining replaced in a fortnight, rego inspection and A/C regas by friday.

    SWMBO is mightily impressed ATM.....

It's difficult being this good, but someone has to do it!

It sure is nice to have 2 RR's in the stable now!!

    Hi Ali,

Pic doesn't work, but I've seen it posted before and it is a weapon. 35"S and beadlocks aren't in my ballpark I'm afraid, but looks the business on that one!!
This is also the shopping car and school run vehicle, so aswell as getting filhty on w'ends etc it has to be a smooth and quiet, like an LSE should be..

Can't wait to get MY RR back from the other half and give her this one!!

Had to scare a young punk in a VL Commy the other day, idling along with the Doof Doof music on, trying to look , so as the IsuzuRR is big and high up and noisy I 'pushed ' him all the way through the roundabout and when he exited didn't he GO! That'll teach these young'ens to drive!
( By 'Push' I mean drive REAL close...

Don't worry T, Very happy with the condition actually. I just went and did all that stuff NOW because I can
As for the Auto, the kickdown cable isn't a RR one, as these 4HP22's are available for many different vehicles, I suspect he had an 'equivalent' one on the shelf at the time...It was a problem only that the clevis pin arrangement at the end of the cable is not correct, and actually prevented full throttle, and the kickdown adjustment was WAAAYYY out due to the cable end fouling the throttle linkages. All fixed now though ( I hate corner cutting, whats wrong with using the correct cable!!!)

Anyway, pics will be up soon hopefully!

(Do you want the Elvis CD back I found in the stacker???)
