Maybe a feed from the coil that switches a relay powered off the main battery otherwise the ignition feed off the main - i'm trying to remember how i did the last 2 rangies i converted.
My disco's LPG system seems to be wired a little on the bodgy side.
The power for the controller comes from the fuse block near the battery, so it is powered up all the time (via a mega amp fuse....). This leaves the relay that disables the injectors on all the time. I was chasing this because I had a sick battery that couldn't keep up (replaced now, alternator out put good) .This wiring seems a bit ugly to me and I'd like to do it better.
Is there an easily accessible point in the engine bay that is switched off by the ignition that is up to powering 3 lock out valves, a convertor solenoid, fuel cut relay, gas system controller and fuel gauge? '95 D1
Total current draw with the ignition off is about 300mA, is this normal?

You're right - it is bodgy! I think I found an ignition-switched +12V supply feed for my controller beneath the steering wheel but I have the relay to isolate the injectors mounted just under the steering column. I can have a closer look for you at the weekend (but it's going to be a bit hot in Adelaide to go climbing around the vehicle even in the garage tomorrow and I need to do some work tomorrow & Friday).
I've posted a couple of pictures here and I can scan & modify a wiring diagram at the weekend if you're not in too much of a hurry.
In the pictures, taken with the fold down cover for the fuse panel under the steering wheel removed, the controller relay and petrol start delay unit is upper centre of frame, and the blue connector where I picked up the feed to the earth side of the injectors is at bottom of frame.
Of course you're probably not so keen to start rewiring your system so these might not help you so much, but they might be of use to someone-else reading this thread.

no I don't want to re wire it....
I also found abandoned spotlight wiring on it, no fuse, straight from the battery
removed..
I am seriously considering getting this 2 yo system removed and a vapour injection system fitted.
I've just had a vapour injection system fitted to my P38A.
Under load going up a steep hill near my home, I can't detect any difference between petrol and LPG.
This is what was installed: KME - Manufacturer of CNG and LPG (GPL) electronic systems
