    Freelander 2 recovery points

Does anyone know where to attach suitable recovery points to the front of the FL2? The manual states the front towing hook is to be used for onroad recovery only.

I checked out the front tow hook this weekend and it looks very solid. I would hope that if something was to break it would be the tow hook from the front cross member. I'll have a better look later though as I think it would be better to have tow hooks placed on the chassis rails.

Just remember these points are for Towing Recovery and not meant for snatching or winching the vehicle if its bogged.
