Thinking of getting a TD5, help out a LR noob

    Hey,

I am thinking of getting a Defender TD5 extreme, what are they like? are they as reliable as my 80series landcruiser?

it's an '02 model and has done 140k. have been told the only problem so far is that it's had it's clutch slave sylinder replaced.

it's in good nic, as a stock vehicle what are they worth as a rough guide?

    Thanks in advance

    Tom.

Ive had mine from new and its outlasted several cruisers including some on amberly. keep a tight eye on the cooling system and the electrics and its pretty hard to go very far wrong.
