Land Rover Monthly Mag
Hi there all
Did anyone else read the article on page 132-133 concerning Land Rover "LWB" Fire Engine's
The short and curlies of the story is there they believe that Land Rover built a Long Wheel Base Fire Engine at the Factory (with pump pto etc...) but the rear of the body could have been coach built to tailor the customers needs & requirements.
The early series one could have been the early stages of production but it also puts answers to the series II Land Rover pamplet advertising the "Long & Short Fire Engines"
Well this wont mean much to some but its help with answers and history of my old Series one Fire Engine.
Well enjoy the day
Wayne
