    clutch brakage

    Gday all,

Driving home today, the car was going al lovely etc, which is good, as i replaced the ignition system less than a week ago. I MEAN ALL OF IT. lol

Now going through a roundabout, 2nd - feels sloshy, 3rd - tick tick of poor footwork, 4th - CRUNCH! Then the pedal fell to the floor. aight. Im now driving al lthe way home in 4th.

I got home too - 20kms of urban driving.....

ultimately, this is the love i get.

Looks like heat got to it and it just fell apart. It seems the piston thing is well gone, i heard it hit the car a few times as it went under.....

The scary thing is it looks like the steel bracket is a bit demented also.... That cant be a good sign...

What has to be replaced? anyone with this kind of love before?

    Cheers!

The clutch hydraulics are all plastic - pipes and all - are a one piece sealed unit - you buy the lot. Because they are plastic there is need to replace the fluid.
