Talking My New GPS and Yarra State Forest trip

Had a spare day and took my 5yr old son out to test a new GPS, the G.Mouse BU-353.
Its a USB powered "puck" type with mag base (running OziExplorer on a laptop (powered from the cigar lighter)).

Anyway, I cant fault it, never lost a signal. I spent no time worry about maps are all my time driving around.

    Specs:
    SiRF Star III chipset
    supports NMEA data protocol
    159dBm sensitivity.

Nice day out, I even gave directions to some others along the way, now that's never happened before since I'm the one normally lost.

Trip was great, had a squiz at the ADA Tree and some old boiler/winch (no, not wench!) then found time for the Downey F/L track (nr Ada River Road), down, then back up just to give the T/C and Hill Descent some work.

    Pic to prove it.

    Cheers chaps

    One very happy LR owner.
