    Pivot selector shaft

I have just received this shaft from the UK but as you can see very different to the one in my transfer case. I checked a series 2 case and it is the same as mine. Could this be series 1?

That part is the same on Series 1, 2 and 3 except for very early Series 1 and the One Ton, and, of course, the V8.

The new one looks to be the correct part. Your old one looks rather like one someone made to do the job!

John, It does look right to the parts book but my series 2 box has the exact same part, so I don't think someone made it. Looks like all I have to do to get it to work is shorten the pivot bolt. Just seems strange
