Hey all, I have a Girling Powerstop brake servo, pedal & master cylinder setup.
It's in really good condition.
I was just wondering if this setup is any good or if I will end up going back to the Torana setup I have now. The Torana setup works well but does the Girling work better?

Not familiar with the terminology of Girling Powerstop, however I am assuming it is the "pedal box/vacuum servo/master cylinder" unit standard on 6cyl and V8 series 3.
I am also assuming that the Torana system you are referring to, is the 6 cyl pedal box hybridised with a PBR MasterVac used on the LC Torana.
I had both the single line Girling master cylinder-servo unit and the hybridised PBR MasterVac. When the MasterVac was set up correctly it was by far superior in it's stopping than the standard Girling unit.
Another thing I only recently learned is that there is a rubber disc between the push rod on the pedal box and the servo unit. This disc is very important to the "feel" of the brakes, and some people use a variety of density rubber to suit different make cars.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
