Mud Flaps

These are mine after a weekend on the sand dunes at Robe. They are a poor design with no support for the large inner area of rubber. Has anyone fitted something better and that looks good or should I just get them replaced at the next service

Point this out to the dealer as a design problem. You might get lucky & have them replaced under warranty.

Then, remove them before you go off road as it's a common problem when they scrape.

As Scouse advises, I have removed mine (permanently?).

I had one damaged on the Simpson Desert trip, managed to make a repair that is not too noticeable, but I will make some replacements for up and coming trips.

After 3 broken sets, mine are now the same as CarverD3's. Same idea after breaking the last set in the Simpson.
Need someone to design a flexible set.

You can either stick a bit of rubber imediately behind the wheel, which will not be stiff enough to keep the stoes away from your trailer.
Or if do what I did, using the LR originals as a base, they are in the right possition and the LR originals keep the rubber well positioned so it doesn't flap.
Some work involved though.

Unfornunately repairs are only temporary. I plastic welded mine together three times before I decided to modify. Only one small crack siince which just need welding, thats all.
