sounds suspiciously like a fork breakage to me.
This is what they do when the pivot ball punches through the fork, then it may 'release' and the pedal stays on the floor but the clutch is disengaged...........
still having my clutch problem i thought i would rebleed the clutch just to get me by till the master and slave cylinder kits got here . Well i bled the clutch and had it working and as i went to back out of the drive way the pedal went half way to the floor and went solid .... so now i have no movement at all . Have i done something wrong ?

Something I've been quietly wondering about this problem. Factory cost cutting measures have done the modern Landies wrong. The old cast iron unit on the series 3s and early Rangies didn't have this issue, and I've always been curious if one of these would solve problem once and for all. Anyone?
well it broke alright.... but it is only $105 fix which is good . so i'll send off another order for the fork and the throw out bearing .... pressure plate and clutch still good
.

good break..
when you get the new one before you isntall it if you weld a reinforcing washer to the pivot and fill the gaps where the pivots sit with braizing rod, solder or even lead that wont happen again.
just dont heat it up to red hot, that would be bad.
