    Angry Grrr!!! Landrover Spare Parts

I Ordered new Bushes for my Radius Arms on the P38 last week. Decided to go with pedders as they were a little cheaper and didn't need a special tool. $110.00 for the set including the Chassis mounts. Picked them up from my mechanic on Friday.

Finally got the left arm off at about 4:00pm on Sunday Arvo, after 2 broken spanners and a burnt arm.

THEY WERE THE WRONG $#%@^ ONES, they were for a classic

After they sent down the wrong ones again on monday, my mechanic began chasing the right ones up.

Today I had the phone call. There are NO radius arm bushes for a P38 in Aus. Genuine or Not. They're at least a week away, maybe more.

Does anyone have any around victoria, otherwise I'll have to put the old arm back on.

    Stu

P.S. We tried the folowing suppliers: Pedders, AMV, Deacon, RangeRov, Ritters, Landrover Stealers including HQ in Sydney.

I;ve never heard of them needing replacement. Mine is on it's originals at close to 300000km.
One of our customers is nearly at 500000km & they're the originals too.

I've got a full set of radius arm bushes I recently bought from British Motor Imports - the front ones plus the rear one for the radius arms. I'll go out and check the part nos. on the packets for you if you like. I can express post them to you tomorrow.

    Thanks Ron,

Thanks for the offer but by the time they get here I probably won't have time to put them on as i'm heading to falls on friday night.

What time would they get to Melb???

Were you able to take both arms off at once?

    Cheers

    Stu

I bought them but haven't got around to fitting them. My eye problems have stopped me cold.

Posted Express Post tomorrow, they'd be there Friday.
