There was a post in the RSS News Feed section, Chichester Observer have a video of the sculpture.
It's 45m tall (they had to put a red light on top to warn low flying aircraft) and they "purposely rusted it up to give it that rural robust feel, like land rover".

i give land rover one thing they are very creative with there displays....
i have seen a few and thought they look cool![]()
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Is that a rangie on its way down either it could,nt hack it or its been to the top and its on its way back![]()
Of course, being a Rangie, it's already been to the top. The others are still making their way - after all the RR was the precursor to all the modern Landies.

I used to live near then and it was easy to pop in. Its a great event. I've rubbed shoulders with Eddie Jordan and watched an F1 star do handbrake turns in a F1 car :-)

Great promo though, very clever.![]()
Hehe, they must have been trying to work out which model can double as anti rust proofing system for that rusty frame.
